Institutional Branding

Challenge

Design and develop an identity and branding strategy for a cause about a pressing social issue of your choosing. Preferably the issue should be close to your heart and passions.

The institutional identity must include an identity brand, mark, and logotype, a usage guide for this identity system, a stationary system that includes a letterhead, business card, and envelop, as well as at least three collateral pieces that use the identity created for the issue.

Solution

Through my love of motorcycles and the people I know who have been in motorcycle accidents I decided to come up with a system to help provide a creative, intuitive, and technology forward solution.

The system was a helmet that acts as a remote start for motorcycles when nearby, so that it encourages the rider to wear a helmet, while also providing a quick way to start a motorcycle without having to worry about keys.
